There are a few good shows out there worth mentioning here. I will put the ones I think the members of this forum will enjoy.
America Unearthed: This show is on Friday nights and follows forensic geologist Scott Wolter as he checks out finds and artifacts showing many groups of people arrived in the United States long before Columbus did. The show is entertaining and has some interesting finds, but a few episodes get drawn out with needless filler. The background music also can be a bit grating.
Ancient Aliens: The fifth season has had a few good episodes but it still jumps around too much for my liking. Just when a part gets interesting, it's off to across the world to another location. The show is at its best when it deals with one area and shows the work being done.
Stephen Colbert: Political satire at its very best. Mr Colbert and his Colbert Nation is not afraid to take on both sides of the aisle. His spots are dead on even though many actually think he is a right wing pundit. (He also goes after the left in his bits as well.)
