Standing in the rain
picturing life less ordinary
Wishing away my sorrows
Vanishing are those days of dreams
from my misspent youth
My umbrella is tired looking and old
my boots have a hole in the seam and my big toe is catching
water.
I look at my empty pockets
something is going to give right?
All my good intentions
All these good deads
and self sacrifices
My hair is longer
my body thinner
the strain of an old hat
I used to wear is growing impatient
Where is the silver lining?
Where does all this bad luck end?
Cold showers and faded summer dresses
Mildew in the wall crack
Gotta clean this stuff soon
when I get the money
when I get the money
When I get the time
I will change this and that and that over there
Lonely and sleepy
my hair on top of my head
The clouds pour out
like tears
maybe they are crying like me
