| Pop music from the 1990s was in and replaced the Disco Era of the late 70s and early 80s. The Pet Shop Boys used slick videos and techno beats for their sound. Nothing really stands out from them, but they are an enjoyable band. They were gay oriented but not so out there like the Village People.
