Miss Tyler came from the Temp Agency to fill in for a receptionist for Dr Roberts, a psychiatrist. She was nice enough, but those kooks made her nervous. It was nearing the end of the day when Dr Roberts opened the door and let out Mrs Dudley.
"I will see you next week, Mrs Dudley?" smiled the Doctor.
"Same time as usual" replied the middle aged woman as she left the office.
"You sure have some crazies seeing you. I hate to be rude, but being abducted by little green men and taken for a ride in a flying saucer. Please!" Miss Tyler sneered.
"They are little blue men" replied the Doctor. "It takes all kinds to live in this world, and a little kindness will go a long way. Please send in the next patient when he gets here."
Dr Roberts went into his office and Miss Tyler didn't even hear the advice he left her. She sat down at the desk when she heard a voice with a British accent say: "I am here for my appointment, Richard Lord. Where is Carol?"
Still looking down and getting ready to buzz the doctor, Miss Tyler replied "Carol is on a vacation and will be back next week. Doctor, your next patient is here."
"Send him in" replied the doctor. Miss Kelly looked up and saw a seven foot tall Reptilian with wings smiling at her. He walked toward the opening door as the doctor greeted him. "It is nice to see you, Rick."
Miss Tyler froze for most of the appointment wondering if she needed a vacation. After half an hour, she talked herself into it being either a hallucination or some smart guy wearing a costume.
Another 15 minutes passed and the door opened with the large Reptilian walking out. "I look forward to seeing you at the group session on Monday. It is with many fellow anxiety sufferers and you will fit right in" the doctor told his patient.
"I will be there as it is great making this much progress. My fellow Draconians don't realize how terrified I am of big crowds and giving speeches." They both laughed as Richard the Draconian took his hat and coat and went out the door.
"I told you it takes all kinds" the doctor smiled. As Miss Tyler ran out the door, the doctor muttered something.
"Temps!"
