Topic: Theta Healing

Time Lapse: 2.5 hours

The meeting began with Kelly going over the basics of our new forum so that the current members on here would be able to post or comment on different topics and categories.

There was only one or two individuals that still did not wish to post but rather lurk.

The meeting on Theta Healing began with an introduction to what it is.

In short: Theta Healing is based on the five different Brain Waves: Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta and Gamma.

Beta- is when you are thinking talking and communicating your mind is in Beta.

Alpha- Alpha is the bridge between Beta and Theta. In an alpha state your brain waves are moving at the frequentcy between 7 and 14 cycles per second. The alpha frequency is likened to a very relaxed and meditative state of being. Alpha waves govern daydreaming and fantasizing and denote relaxed detached awareness. People who don't function very well in this mode will experience memory difficulties.

Theta- is a very deep state of relaxation. This is the state used in Hypnosis and dreaming. In this state of being the brain waves are slowed to a frequency of four to seven cycles per second. In fact, sages meditate for hours and hours to reach this state. People then can reach absolute calmness. Theta brainwaves are th subconscious and holds memories and sensations. Theta brain waves also govern attitudes - beliefs and behavior. They are always creative, inspirational and characterized by very spiritual sensations.

In a theta healing session you imagine yourself going above your head through your crown chakra and your brain will be in an alpha state the the electroencephalograph. But it has been shown that when concsiousness is sent through the crown with the focused thought that it will go up and seek out God. The brain will then shift to a pure Thata State on the electroencephalograph.

Delta- is a state of mind that happens when you are in a deep sleep. In this state the brain waves slow to a 0 to 4 cycles per second. It is also in this state that when the phone rings whe will know who is calling .

Gamma- this is the state where we learn and process information. Gamma waves stimulate the release of beta endorphins. they appear to be involved in higher mental activity including perception and concsiousness. Your brainwaves cycle between 40 and 5,000 cycles a second in this state.

It is believed that in the Theta-Gamma state together you are in a condition most conducive to instant healing.

In times of emergency the brain has been observed to switch back and forth between Gamma and Theta as a natural response.

Gamma waves also disappear when a person is under anaesthesia.



Brainwaves and Healing
Scientists have discovered that those certain brain frequencies have been found to do the following:

* Alleviate Stress and promote long lasting and substantial reduction in anxiety
* facilitate deep physical reaction and mental clarity
* increase verbal ability and verbal performance IQ
* sychronize both hemispheres of the brain
* invoke vivid spontaneous mental imagery and imaginative creative thinking
* reduce pain and promote euphoria


In our lives there are four belief systems that control our lives.

1. Core Level: Beliefs accepted over our entire lifetime.

2. Genetic Level: Our DNA 23 pairs of chromosomes =46 times 2 strands per chromosome = 92 strands times 100,000 functions per strand = 9.2 million total functions per indidvidual.

3. History Level: 3 molectules containing our history are carried from life to life. They are located in the pineal gland in the brain, in the heart, and at the base of the spine.

4. Soul Level: Beliefs, thoughts or feelings helt at this level will have a profound effect upon your life.


Just going over the brief process for ThetaHealing SensaiED passed out the basic steps in the healing technique.

1. ASK THE CLIENT FOR PERMISSION
(permission is important since it brings the client into the reality of the healing. Consent fromt eh client will give their body permission to heal.)

2. CENTRE YOURSELF IN YOUR HEART AND VISUALIZE GOING DOWN INTO MOTHER EARTH

3. VISUALIZE BRINGING UP THE EARTH ENERGY THROUGH YOUR FEET, OPENING EACH CHAKRA TO THE CROWN CHAKRA. IN A BEAUTIFUL BALL OF LIGHT GO OUT INTO THE UNIVERSE.

4. GO BEYOND THE UNIVERSE, PAST THE WHITE LIGHTS, PAST THE DARK LIGHT, PAST THE WHITE LIGHT, PAST THE JELLY-LIKE SUBSTANCE THAT IS THE LASWS INTOA PEALY WHITE LIGHT INTO THE SEVENTH PLANE OF EXISTENCE.

5. GO UP AND CONNECT TO THE C REATOR AND MAKE THE COMMAND: 'creator of all that is, it is commanded that this ailment be changed in [person's name] to perfect health in the highest and best way. show me. Thank You! It is done. It is done. It is done.'

6. GO INTO THE PERSON'S SPACE AND PERMIT THE CREATOR TO TAKE YOU TO THE PLACE IN THE BODY THAT NEEDS TO BE HEALED.

7. STAY IN THE CHALLENGED AREA AND WITNESS AS THE CREATOR HEALS THE PERSON

8. STAY THERE UNTIL THE HEALING ENERGY IS FINISHED.

(It is important not to use your energy in this process but rathe the creator's energy. This is done by commanding the creator that does the healing and then can use the same sources to replenish your own energies after a healing.)

9. AFTER YOU HAVE WITNESSED THE HEALING, GO BACK UP, RINSE YOURSELF OFF, PUT YOURSELF BACK I YOUR OWN SPACE, GROUND YOURSELF AND MAKE AND ENERGY BREAK.

IT IS ALSO NOTED THERE ARE SEVEN PLANES OF EXISTENCE:

First plane: ALL non organic material on earth
2nd plane: All organic material
3rd plane: Where animals and humans exist
4th plane: Realm of the spirit
5th plane: Divided into hundreds of degrees.
6th plane: The laws that govern our universe, our galaxy, our solar system, our planet, ourselves.
7th plane: Pure energy of all creation.

It is noted that the THETA HEALING techniques can also be used to heal the four belief systems using the same above process.

There is a list of behavorial suggestions we all should strive to live by whether we are involved in Theta Healing or not as follows:

No complaining
No whining
NO being overly critical
No being overly judgemental
No poking fun at others
No being cynical or facetious
No creating reasons to be sorry or to say you're sorry our of habit
No creating reasons to be stressed
No creating reasons to be unhappy.
No affirming negative thoughts such as 'I'm overweight'
No affirming negative feelings such as "I'm depressed."
No making reason tob e angry
No making or seeking out reasons to overcome others, fight, struggle or enter into combat (more than necessary.)
No making reasons to be anxious
No making reasons to worry.
No making reasons for self-doubt.
No.creating situations of lack of scarcity with statements sucha s 'I don't have enough energy.' Instead make the calim 'I HAVE PLENTY.'
No creating chaos to drama for entertainment, excitement, adventure or thrills or to avoid peace.
No 'wrong' or 'right' or 'worse', 'should', 'home'or 'try'.

After the main portion of the meeting Kathy spoke on some things that she learned from a news letter at her job as a nursing aide. In the news letter it was brought up Dr. Hunter Doherty "Patch" Adams has a book entilted Gesundheit "Humor is an antidote to all ills. I believe that fun is as important as love." Patch Adams and just some daily suggestions to help make the world around us a better place,. Because Happiness Heals and makes better health.

here were some suggestions by Patch Adams for Ten everyday actions to increase your happiness:
1. Pick up all the trash in an area in your hometown; be it's guardian. Tell others about it.
2. Be friendly to everyone at all times; experiment outrageously.
3. Offer a shoulder or foot rub in any environment.
4. always speak up for justice, no matter how much it costs.
5. Go once a week on a "house call' to a nursing home to cheer people up as a friend.
6. Turn off yoru TV and become interesting. Perform yourself.
7. consider being silly in public. Sing out loud. Wear Funny stuff.
8. Find Ways to ned a whole lot less money; share beyond belief.
9. Have potlucks frequently, with neighbors, co-workers, strangers. Work toward living in extended families.

(even cyber families ;-] )

10. Take your vacations in your own hometown and spend the money working on projects there that help build community.

Thank you for sharing these notes. This book is far down on my wish list as I have other books to get first (they have been on the list for a few years now!).
