There is a fundamental question that gets ridiculed when it is asked in all seriousness:
Do vampires (as a human creature) exist?
I do have a few books coming in on the subject of actual vampire encounters which have been recorded. I will also review the book and look at all the evidence presented for their existence.
In my mind, I actually do think these types of creatures exist. While they may not be Barnabas Collins or Count Dracula as Hollywood depicts them, they are probably quite real and do live off either energy or even blood. I do think they look like us but possess abilities to change form when ever it is necessary. I do not know if they are good or evil, but I do think survival is their core motivation for any type of violence perpetrated.
I also am not talking about everyday people who pretend to be vampires because they drink human blood, but actual immortal creatures. It does seem ever since Bram Stoker brought the vampire to the forefront of popular culture, we cannot get enough of them. From the silver screen to many TV shows, the vampire is here to stay. But what exactly are these creatures? I look forward to reading some ideas here from the members.
BTW, the Goddess Lilith is often referred to as a vampire Goddess. I think this is because she was deemed evil by the Church.
