Is it possible that Mermaids did exist in one form or another based on the Aquatic Ape Theory?

Very Plausible based on evolution of many different species of apes, not to mention fossils may not exist due to them living in water?

After reading some of the information on the Mermaids: The body found program on the Animal Planet recently; I thought it would be interesting to see if there really is a Aquatic Ape Theory or if it was just part of the mocumentary.

I found that yes it is a plausible theory by an anthropologist here is the website with all the scientific information. I mean we do have Whales and Dolphins..

I voted yes on mermaids (and mermen). Too many reports and myths out there of such creatures to just ignore.

They have also found ruins over 1000 feet below sea level where the land was never raised above the levels of the sea. I do think they could of been used by such creatures and abandoned once humans could find them. (Our submarines don't go too deep underwater. They dive about 100 to 200 feet max unless it is a special deep sea diver.)

I would agree it is quite interesting that you are seeing and hearing about some of these things for the first time.

One can only imagine what else lies inside this wonderous planet.
