Prom Nights

My young man steps out of the shower all fresh and clean

I help him dress in his tuxedo of hunter green

I put on the carnation just right

I give him a pack of Magnums for a safe night

I give him a few C-notes for a room in an estate

I give him a hug and tell him to arrive home safe from his date

An hour later he returns with his date and tears in his eyes

"They won't let us in together as we are both guys"



Hopefully this situation will become a thing of the past in all schools. There are still many out there which do not allow same sex couples to the dances. Shame on them.
