| Web md has some annoying listings for flu and sinus infections and the common cold. I mean how do you really know what is wrong with you? It all feels the same..
and going to the doctor just feels silly if it is just a bad COLD.
Oh will be oh so happy when the allergy, cold, and flu season is over!

| I know a lot of people who go themselves or take their kids to the doctor. It seems silly to expose yourself to more germs and viruses just to get the usual cold medicine and go home to sleep it off.
When I get sick or a cold, I just stay in my room and drink some fluids. My cat lays by my feet keeping it warm, and I usually read a book or watch TV.

It usually takes me a while to get over sinus infections also. It has taken a month for some of them to clear. Get well soon. All that matters is your good health.

| I do think the miserable heat and humidity has been creating a party in our sinuses and allergies. It is in the 90s for the next few days and will hit them again this weekend. It has not been this hot up here for a long time. I left the south to get away from this type of heat.
Next stop: North Pole. | |

| Maybe we should move south.. since the poles seem to be shifting. | |

| It doesn't help having the immense heat and humidity of the summer out there. It cools down here a few degrees and then the humidity rises to an unbearable number.
These past two summers have been miserable up here. I expect it down South to be that way!

| Five weeks now still congested. Took antibiotics ten days later still breaking up whatever is going on in my poor nose. I've been under a lot of stress too. So far red wine is making me feel better and at this rate I'll be a raging wino. | |

| I had a terrible sinus problem last year causing my ears to block up. I thought it was excessive earwax down the canal, but the doctor checked and told me my sinuses had closed up.
I got strong prescription medicine which burned when I took it. After one month, the blockage was gone. It took a long time to clear them, but the hassle was worth it. (It felt like I just got done swimming when you get water in your ears.)
