A tiny spell for new year

I will be doing this after the fulll moon passes.

But it is a simple house cleansing spell and I do it completely un-ritualistically.

I take a bag of sea salt and sprinkle it around my house.

When I am in my house will sprinkle sea salt in every corner of every room.

usually reciting "My home is my haven all darkness be gone. God/ Goddess surround me with your protection, warmth and light."when done light some white colored candles with either Lemon scented oils or Gardenia.

Not only will your home be less negative but will also ward off negativity.

It is also customary that once I am done I will usually take a sea salt bath as well. To get the mind body and spirit in order.

Or you can follow up with some light meditation and yoga.

I should also do a ritual and thank Selene for watching over my house during the night. The Moon is beautiful to look at during the night and brings to mind some ancient rituals.

I wish we had a fireplace so I could give an offering to Hestia a personal Goddess of the home.

I wish I had a fire place too! Gas would be a little cheaper in my home! =0)
