Is it 4:30 yet?

I think this thought a lot lately at work.. man I need a vacation!

When I worked at the Census Bureau as a temp, they had us start putting our stuff away at 4:15 PM so all of us would be out of there by 4:30.

I always had a lot of work to do and wanted to tell them to let me stay a little while longer to at least finish the one project up. They said there was always tomorrow which was true. "The work ain't going nowhere" was what my supervisors would say.

The work never did grow legs and run out of the building.

I can relate.. unfortunately as busy as we have been I am still coughing like crazy.. thank god I go to dr tomorrow.. stupid though I have to pay for another co-pay and it made me mad since they said to follow-up with them but nothing worked and I have to stop reading web md.. I am turning into a hypo.

For me is it 2:30 yet!

I start work at 6 am, which actually I love, I am a morning person and most of the building (about 425 employees) don't start until 8:00.

I need a vacation, permanently!

I hate Drs. and insurance companies. The insurance companies work so hard at figuring out how to word things so they don't end up paying squat!

Me too! Nothing is more painful than your ribs when they are injured. Just isn't fun. I leave at 12 not noon today though.

There are advantages to working those odd hours when no bosses or others are around to interrupt you from your work. They always find you to take care of their problem jobs. I didn't mind, but let me finish at least one of my own projects first.

I'm just hoping to get some sleep tonight
