COMMERCIALS IM SICK OF...

In no particular order :

1. Five hour energy shots

2. Car insurance

3. Drinking and driving/ anti-drug

4. Male enhancements

5. Depression drugs (half the time you need anti-depressants just to get through the commercial)

6. Damn fall out food! During COAST TO COAST AM George Noory talks about how you can get 6 months of dried out space food just 200.00 for a six month supply?!!

I think if the world ends we will be too dead to worry about it...

I agree with you on the damn commercials. My family mutes them out when they come on TV. It helps a bit, but you still have to watch them.

I would add to the list any product "available through TV offer only" (Sham Wow etc).

Political ads are also terrible. This fall the airwaves are going to get carpet bombed with negative ads by the Romney campaign. I do not look forward to that one.

I really hate when You watch something on the DVR from timewarner and some of the ON Demand things still won't let you fastforward them.. (nbc is the worst) I want to literally reach through the tv and smack the person in charge!

plus they charge and arm and a leg for the ON DEMAND features but that is the only reason I keep them around.. if they change that I may say forget it...

But if I see one more Cialis Commercial (i think i spelled that right...) of a 77 year old man walking around with his 77 year old wife in a sunny park while the guy narrating the commercial says something about feeling better about being "active" like we don't know already that this is a made up commercial.. first off if a guy is 77 most likely he isn't taking it for his "wife" it is for his 20 something girlfriend (ewwww)!

And those dumb 5 hour shot commercials look like they were made using a generic cell phone camera.. the best is that Taco Bell commercial about the guys that drobe 960 miles to a Taco Bell just for that "taco bell flavor" SERIOUSLY??? you can make better tacos at home in your kitchen....and let us not forget during the 8-4pm crowd commercials

the lawyer ones "let walsh and walsh help you get paid for your ________ fill in blank.."

I was so irratated two weeks ago at 1100 am Cleveland Station during coast to Coast am on a Friday night they had aproximately 2.5 hours of actual radio time and the rest were 15 minute long infomercials I almost wrote the station..and coast to coast to tell them that it is okay to have some commericals but when it is taking up 30 minutes for a long commercial about god only knows what - I may stop listening.. it is annoying. Half the time you forget what they were talking about or you just go to sleep because they don't come back in like 2-5 minutes. And Coast to Coast has supporters that contribute so why they need so much advertising I do not know.. agony...

I worked nights much of the time when I was younger and I noticed the daytime TV ads were directed at out of work people. Schools and training classes seemed to stick out the most.

I also have Dish network and you can record a show and just hit a button which allows you to skip the next 15 to 30 seconds. It works wonders when getting rid of the ads.

I also don't like the Go Daddy ads. They are just way to obnoxious.

The worst fast food ads are Subway. Just eat at a Penn Station and you will never set foot in a Subway again.

oohh I do love Penn Station.. although there was a Firehouse Subs in Florida and they may have had the most amazing turkey subs I have ever eaten..

Pretty much any place is better than Subway, but they are cheap and people get a sandwich there when they are hungry.

I did try their buffalo chicken and it was okay. I am keen on spicy food. It is a wonder my stomach hasn't shot itself so it doesn't have to deal with what I put in it haha

There was an informercial on about ten years ago featuring those candid camera style videos of people falling and pulling pranks on each other. This one added a laugh track and was very annoying. They kept playing the same clips over and over again for half an hour. I was at work when I saw it and couldn't change the channel.

oh agony.. remember the Rub on commercial for the product that Rubbed away your headache? what in the world were they thinking?

I remember the rub on product for headache removal. The best (or worst) product I ever saw was the spray on paint for men to remove bald spots. It actually made the creator of the product a millionaire so go figure.

I love watching Shark Tank because a lot of those people start out getting multi-million dollar deals from people like that. It is a fun show. Makes you think anything can make money..

How about all of those buying gold commercials? I see more of them now than ever before. There are two types: Ones who want to buy your old gold jewelry and the others trying to sell you the gold. They buy broken chains for a small amount of money, melt it down and sell you back the ingots at market value. Talk about profiting off of people.

Kitty Litter commercials showing them scoop up "clumps" especially when you are eating dinner.

Yeah that is gross:-(

They now have ads where they show nasty mouths with terrible teeth to get people to buy this product so they can stop chewing tobacco. I hate those ads as they are also nasty.

They also show dog's poop being scooped in some of those new gadgets they sell to clean up after the dog. There is no need to do any of that as I know what kitty and doggie droppings look like.

Like a 5 year old would say "icky icky ohhh"

Saturday Night Live does have some good parodies in that I think it is a real commercial at first. They have one about these cute dolls "My Pony" types that turn out to be dolls that give the HPV vaccination.

It tells you something when it is hard to tell the difference between parody and real ads.

I do love SNL. Too bad most of the really talented actors are in their last season and it will be time to explore new actors. Kristin Wiig may be one of the most hilarious actresses on SNL in a decade.

How about the ads that blare when they appear after the show. Congress did pass a law to stop this with broadcasters, but cable channels can still do this practice.

It is bad enough most hour shows are now broken up into eight parts with many more ads thrown in (it used to be four acts per hour). I now try to record all commercial television so I can fast forward the ads. The mute button is a gift from heaven.

I hate how on the DEMAND channels some of them have caught on and won't allow to FF anymore. NBC can rot!!!!

All pharmaceutical ads can rot in Hell! I have seen enough of them for an entire lifetime. Have you ever listened to all of the side affects for some of them? I would rather deal with "restless legs" than with all of the crap you have to go to the doctor to fix after taking the meds for that one.
