Hops -n-ales 18+over

I have always been a girl that knows a good beer. I have been a Greatlakes and Sam Adams fan for ages, but I have to share a story. All the Great Lakes Christmas Ale fans out there did YOU KNOW that a beer named 12 dogs of Christmas was the original Christmas ale from Great Lakes Brewery out of Cleveland? He took the recipe to Great Lakes then after a disagreement started his own beer company..

So now you know "the rest of the story " as Paul Harvey would say.

While I do not like beer, I have had a few ales I have enjoyed in the past. I do need to get some other ales and try them out. I will see if that local ale is available here (Chicago not too far from Ohio area) and try it.

I do live off a Great Lake also!

yes Elliot Ness is gross though. Don't go for that. Too dry and bitter. Tastes like dirt

I will avoid that one. I love the name, though.
