When rock and science fiction meet, this is the result: A wonderful collection of songs that make you think of all those 1970s sci fi flicks. They did not make you feel good about the future as it was almost always portrayed as bleak. Logan's Run showed a Utopia that was great to live in, unless you hit your 30th birthday. The music of Alan Parsons Project actually gives you a feeling of hope.

Breakdown (I love the ending of this song.)

I Robot (Cool instrumental music and also the name of one of his albums)

Time (beautiful song)

Sirius/Eye in the Sky (Alan Parsons does have some interesting visuals on his album covers. Sirius and Ancient Egypt feature in many of the concepts. This is the longer live version of the Eye in the Sky album.)

Alan Parsons has worked with the Beatles and Pink Floyd. You can hear his musical influence in Pink Floyd music as well. When people say the 1970s sucked, just put on some of the music from that time period. And I am not talking disco.
