What a wonderful band this was back in the 1960s and 70s. Songs for the family that are still catchy today. Michele Phillips went on to some TV roles in which the music of the group would play in the background. (Knots Landing was the show as Michele played the mother of a character who went on to stay for a few seasons.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w97Frci7ThcI do love their music, but when the group performs you can tell they are on something. That shouldn't surprise too many as this was the era of all kinds of drugs. They also did a lot of lip synching for their TV shots. This was normal in the time as the music would of sounded terrible for the viewing audience. The mikes just couldn't pick things up as well as they can in today's world except for feedback. Still, it is fun to watch music from that long gone era.
