When people think of folk rock or folk singers they usually bring up Bob Dylan. I am one who thinks Mr Dylan is a bit over rated (as well as does not have that good a singing voice).
Arlo Guthrie does come to mind as my parents owned his albums (as well as his father's). I grew up listening to this legend and also have seen his movie Alice's Restaurant.
